During the course of Mid-TECH, all students will take part in three major training events. All three are summer schools of a week's duration and, despite the name, the summer schools sometimes take place in winter. So far, two have been fully completed, the first in Germany in early 2016 on Mid-IR science and technology, and the second in Denmark in summer 2016 on Entrepreneurship. The third, shared training event has been split into two parts, the first of which was the 2017 CLIRSPEC conference in the Lake District in England.
