The mid-term review meeting for Mid-TECH was held at DTU in Copenhagen on 8 December 2016. The scientists in charge from all beneficiary institutions took part in the meeting, as did the 15 Mid-TECH students. All supervisors of the ESRs introduced themselves and their role in Mid-TECH to the two European Commission representatives from the Research Executive Agency (REA) in Brussels, and the 15 ESRs presented posters of their individual projects to the technical expert. The science of Mid-TECH was found to be of a very high level, and Mid-TECH passed the review.
