The Optical Sensor Technology Group, headed by Dr. Christian Pedersen, has a strong background in coherent optics and supporting disciplines like mechanics, electronics design and signal analysis.
Our main focus is state-of-the-art optical sensors and enabling sensor principle aimed for industrial and scientific applications. In order to maintain and develop state-of-the-art competences within this field, our group put strong emphasis on publication of peer-reviewed papers for the scientific community, but also on activities directed at innovation in close collaboration with industry. In short, we thrive on bringing novel concepts from the fundamental level to the application level.
